This special promotion offers free admission to the entire museum. You will have the opportunity to explore the museum and learn from the various exhibits. The National Museum of Wildlife Art has a vast collection of different art forms all capturing this area’s wildlife and all of its beauty. The main exhibit features over 5,000 wildlife paintings, sculptures and other art forms. There are works from over 100 different artists on display. The art on display at the National Museum of Wildlife Art spans many time periods. Some of the art is new while other works date back to early Native American tribes.
During free admission days to the National Museum of Wildlife Art there will usually be a special event planned. On November 4th, Harvest on the Hill will be the first of the winter’s free admission day festivities. The theme will be “Wild About the West” and will showcase National Geographic photographs of the American West. There will be a western themed treasure hunt and snacks will be served throughout the day. You will also have a chance to create your own piece of western artwork and listen to some great live music.
