Those of you who are travelling to Jackson Hole this winter for a ski or snowboard trip may notice some changes at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Over the past 3 years Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has been improving the mountain to cater to the intermediate destination skier. These new improvements along with more direct flights to Jackson, WY will hopefully bring more people to the mountain this winter. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has just introduced its new ski lift for the 2012-2013 season. This new lift is a four passenger, high speed detachable chair lift that has been installed mid-mountain. This lift should carry almost 800 more people per hour and cut time spent on the lift by 6 and 1/2 minutes. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort has also revamped the Casper trail system. They spent the summer grooming and expanding this area, creating a bigger, more intermediate-friendly skiing experience.

There are also more flights coming into Jackson enabling more and more people to access Jackson Hole. United Airlines plans to fly non-stop from San Francisco and New York on holidays and weekends. Delta Airlines is also going to offer flights from Minneapolis to Jackson Hole. These new avenues will offer more flights and shorter flight times for those wanting to ski Jackson Hole.
