The amazing experience begins on Friday August 17 at 5:00PM. You will be able to enjoy some of the great food and refreshments and meet some of the representatives from attending clans. Later, the party or Ceilidh gets under way. Ceilidh is a great time for everyone as Celtic music and traditional dancing bring the crowd to its feet. Start day 2 of the festival bright and early at 8:00AM. Saturday August 18th is when the competitions get heated. See some great althetes compete in some traditional Celtic sporting events known as Heavy Athletics. Witness the strength of these athletes as they perform in events like Weight Toss, Stone Throw, Hammer Throw, or the Tug-Of-War. You will also have a chance to hear some amazing Celtic music as pipe bands battle for the top spot. The dancing competition always seems to get the people out of their seats. Stick around for the closing ceremonies where you will see awards given and more music and dancing.
